Seriously, June 2008 was my last post?

I can't believe that June 2008 was my last post. I'm so ashamed.

The truth is I've thought about it several times, but knowing that it has been so long since my last post, the thought of sitting down and trying to catch up seems overwhelming. So, I've continued to wait until I have time to sit down and write a long entry about why it's been so long. I now realize that will never happen, so I'm just going to start up again. I miss posting here and even if it is never read, I enjoy it.

I had a technology class this fall and we had to start a blog and our assignments were different postings. Anyway, this lady in the class said how dumb she thought it was to blog and put personal information on your blog. She said she didn't care about all stuff people put on them. It may be dumb, but I totally love reading blogs. I even sometimes click on links from friends blogs to people I don't know and read about them. I think it's just so interesting. Now, the problem is that I've found Facebook and I LOVE IT!!! I love that I have connected with people I haven't seen in years and friends from places we've lived. It's so much fun and I love reading the little posts about what people are doing "right now". I tell you it's the little things in life that make you happy and those things make me happy. Maybe too happy, I probably spend too much time on the computer reading them.

Anywho, I'm off to bed, but now that I've broke the ice and started blogging again, I'll update more often. My next one will be about the family and myself and what we are up to.

Last day of school!

Today was our last day of school. As you can clearly see, we are not having summer like weather. I took at picture of the school parking lot today. It pretty much snowed all day. I can't believe that on the 10th of June it is snowing. It's very cold out and it's supposed to stay that way for a few days. It's crazy.

I also can't believe that I now have a third and a second grader. Time sure does fly. The girls are very excited to be on "summer" vacation. We don't have any real big plans for the summer. We will be in Polson next week while Isabelle goes to a camp for theatre. Our little actress. She has two of those camps this summer. Olivia didn't want to do any camps. The only other thing we really have planned is swimming lessons and then we'll pretty much just have fun and play all summer long.

I included a couple of pictures. The top picture is of the girls on their first day of school and the bottom one is today, their last day of school. They sure do grow and change a lot during the school year. Both girls are growing their hair out. They don't think it grows very fast until I show them a picture from before.

I hope all is well and everyone enjoys their summer.

Couple of cuties

The girls went to a princess birthday party last night. They got all dressed up and looked so adorable. They of course had a blast at the party and didn't want to leave.

Isabelle's book

I am so proud of Isabelle. She is reading a book called The Candy Shop War.

The author, Brandon Mull came to all the schools here and spoke. Isabelle got this book signed by him and she is really enjoying it. I am so impressed because it's a huge book and it's got over 400 pages.

She loves to read and I'm so glad. I know I wouldn't have read like that at her age. To be 8 years old and reading a book like this is impressive. I know proud mom bragging, but it's my blog and I can do that...
