A great family trip

Last weekend we were able to get away for a few days with Jason's family. We met with Jason's brother from Seattle and his parents at little resort just outside of Moses Lake, Washington. It was really a lot of fun and although the weather was a bit chilly, it didn't rain so we were thankful for that. We left Wednesday and stayed with our good friends, Cathy and Terry (who also happen to be Olivia's Godparents) in Spokane. We had a great time with them and Cathy took us on a great walk. The girls fell in love with their little dog Cocoa. We met up with the family on Thursday and had a very relaxing weekend. We golfed, walked, played games and played miniature golf. We mostly just hung out and got to spend time together, which was especially nice since we don't get to see Jason's brother and family very often. It's always fun watching the girls play with their cousins. We headed back home on Sunday and got back into the swing of things.

Life is busy of course, but we had a beautiful day today and are loving these days. We especially appreciate the nice sunny days since we once again had some snow last week. It doesn't feel like it's every going to warm up and be summer.

We are in the final stretch of school days and are very excited for summer to get here. Isabelle is going to participate in some theatre summer camps, we'll have swimming lessons, and lot's of other things that come our way this summer. I can't believe how fast our calendar is already filling up.

Well hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Our little baseball player

Olivia is trying baseball this year and she's doing great. The coach pitches the ball to them and they get three tries to hit it. If they miss then they bring out the tee. She's doing awesome and has only had to use the tee once. I think she'll be a natural. She's got a great arm.

A very moving weekend.

Jason and I went to see Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton speak in Butte this weekend. It was a really great opportunity. Jason and I both went into it supporting Obama and I can honestly say we weren't disappointed. After hearing him speak, he made me feel like I wanted to be a better person and do more. Jason is one of the coordinator's for Flathead County for the campaign, which is how we got the tickets to the speeches. Jason is so enthused and excited about Obama and it's been great to see him get involved in the campaign. I will say that I even liked Hillary more than I thought I would. So, for us if we can't have Obama we'll vote for Hillary. Anyway, enough of that, just thought I'd throw the pictures in. Our camera isn't that great, so it didn't take the greatest of pictures.

Olivia's 7th birthday

I can't believe my baby is 7 years old. Time certainly does fly. Her birthday was on the 1st of April and we had a great time. She had a ice cream party with all of her friends. Papa and Penniegram brought her present to her from Polson and she got the cutest little cow"girl" boots as she calls them. They are adorable.
